I have allways loved animals and especially dogs.
I grew
up with a cross-breed hunting dog and later a Great-Dane/Beauceron mix.
My family
also had a Labrador. Then in 1991 at the tender age of thirteen years there
was a significant moment in my life.
I was walking in a little forest in Belgium
and a gorgeous dark Golden Retriever with a marvellous coat walked up to me and jumped
up to me, whilst wagging his tail and smiling. He was the first Golden Retriever I ever
noticed, a passion was born...
A few months later I bought my first Golden Retriever bitch
'Purdy van Artésendal'
, who inspired the kennel name. She did really well, winning 2 CAC's, 1res.CAC,
1 CACIB, 2 BOB, all under English judges and had 2 litters : one by CH Waterloo's
Rock Around the Clock and the other by CH Sansue Lord of the Manor.
From
the later litter a puppy returned to the house 'Tosca of
Purdy's Cottage'.
She was not a brood bitch but a much beloved pet.
In 2004 the unthinkable
happened.
Purdy, the apple of my eye, sadly passed away at the age of 13.
Overwhelmed with grief I knew what I had to do : to find a new prima donna.
So I started looking around. There was one dog I liked a lot : 'Multi Champion
Beeangee Jumping Jack Flash' (aka Must), a son of the famous sire and top-producer
'Champion Ritzilyn Cockney Robin', a grandson of 'Sansue Castalian' (another
top-producer).
I contacted the owner(Mr. Facq) and he turned out to be a very
nice person and very passionate about Golden Retrievers.
The 12 th of June I picked up
my new girl, grandchild of 'Must',
'Vanilla
Sky du Bois de la Rayère',
my hope for the future.
In 2005, another girl bred by Mr. Bruno Facq has entered my life:
Anaïs Anaïs du Bois de la Rayère
I would like to thank Tamara en Peter Ignatieva-Heiremans
for their friendship, help and support
(not to mention the creation of
this website!) & Bruno Facq
for my gorgeous
girls and his friendship and advice.
Hope you like my site!
